As a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) serving Ithaca and the surrounding areas, I offer home visits to help with questions and issues related to chest/breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, weaning, and more. I offer the same services to anyone, anywhere via virtual visits.
You might have imagined that feeding your baby would be natural and effortless. And for some people, it is! But if feeding your baby feels difficult, confusing, or frustrating, know that you are not alone.
I have worked with thousands of families who came to me wondering “How is this supposed to work?!” They are in pain, or they are struggling to feed their babies, or they are confused and worried and overwhelmed – or all of the above.
My goal is that in the course of our visit, you go from puzzled and frustrated to calm, confident, and empowered. The most common things I hear from parents at the end of the visit are: “I feel so much better now.” “Everything finally makes sense.” “It feels so good to have a clear plan. We can do this!”

My past patients say…
You were truly a lifesaver for us!
Thank you so much for all of your help during our struggles. I honestly believe you personally were a big part of the reason we have been successful!
Our feeding journey would have been over within a few days of birth without your coaching and steadfast support. I’ve since shared a lot of the lessons you taught me with friends experiencing the same disappointment, pain, and doubt. LCs really are spirit guides, navigating through this HARD and profound space. Thank you forever for what you gave my family.
There is no way I could ever adequately express my gratitude to and affection for you! You were such a source of hope and confidence while I was struggling. You played a critical role in my breastfeeding story which has been such a precious and special part of my life.
Thank you so much for the reassurance and support you offered, your assistance helped me regain my confidence in my ability and my baby’s growth.
